Korean Cultural Event
November 15th in Old Montréal
The Consulate General in Montreal and Permanent Mission to ICAO [jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea], will hold a Korean cultural event on Sunday, November 15th in Old-Montreal to commemorate the arrival of two ROK Navy ships at the Port of Montréal.
The event will consist of two performances. First, a dynamic show by ROK Navy’s crew will take place on the steps in front of the Montréal Science Center. The second part will be showcased inside the Science Center (Perspective 235° Hall, 2nd floor), starting with “East2West” a local K-POP dance troupe presenting cover songs followed by a powerful performance by our special guests from Korea, “DoodRock”.
※‘DoodRock’ is a Korean fusion Nanta team who perform using Korean traditional instruments to produce a sound that is both traditional and modern. They are well known amongst the locals and have also enticed new followers after having performed in Asia (China, Taiwan, Japan & Singapore) as well as Europe.
